"BLACK AGE XI"
Program and scheule of events.
The opening reception for this group show which is entitled,
"The Blacker the Hero"
will be on Oct. 10th 2008,
5:00pm to 8:00pm, free admission at the
African American Cultural Center of the University of Illinois at Chicago.

The exhibition will feature selected images, posters, and illustrations
from a variety of Black Age or indie characters created by a
variety of artists. The lecture-discussion will feature a moderator, an agenda,
with invited professional Black Age/indie publishers.

OCTOBER 11th 2008

We will be vending books at the
South Side YMCA
at 6330 South Stony Island in the Alcove area
10am until 4pm. Free Admission.

I didn't forget them. They already passed, that's why I posted about THIS convention. It's coming up in October.

I already know of the ECBACC. I attend their convention a few times myself. I was also there last year. I got to purchase a few comics, and get my hands on the third book of the Shades of Memnon series, and talk to Brother G. I also attended his workshop.
