HOW OFTEN DO YOU READ TO YOUR CHILDREN OR CHILDREN IN YOUR COMMUNITY? Part 1

How often do you read to your children or children in your community?

We talk about educating our children. Yet, have we made African-centered
education a priority beyond the classroom. Do we spend enough time
reading about our own stories and making sure our children read with us
from an early age?

Let everyone know what you think and invite more friends that can also give their opinions.

I want to hear from everyone reading this question.

Hi Tehuti,

What prompted you to start this site? I'm so glad I found it on Google. It fills a void. I am committed to reading to my children and others.

All the best,

Greetings my brother Tehuti. Asante Sana for inviting me to be a member of Black People Read Well. As an educator I feel this can be an important forum to share and plan. May I suggest as we develop this site that we keep the original order of our flag the red, black and green so as not to confuse the people. Red on top, lack in the Middle and Green at the bottom. It might seem unemportant for some but to those of us who love the and respect the life and works of the Honorable Marcus Mosiah Garvey and the millions of members of the UNIA & ACL who declared we should have this flag of the African Empire, its important that the order of the colors be retained in our flag, art and other formats. Peace
